Japanese born artist Chiharu Shiota wraps objects, floor to ceiling, in miles of black wool. Her work is extremely ambiguous and stunning, and leaves you extremely curious. Each piece is a physical creation of a deep rooted memory. Because of this, it's easy to feel a connection with her.
Her first solo show is currently on display in NYC at the Goff and Rosenthal Gallery: 537B West 23rd street.
